FAMILY CATECHISM

Every generation is responsible for training up the generation that follows, pouring out their lives into the lives of others (cf. Deuteronomy 6:4-9). The whole concept of Catechism has historically been linked to this process of the transference of the Faith. As the Apostle Paul tells Timothy, we have been entrusted with the sacred Covenant-Trust that we must likewise entrust to others who are trustworthy enough to receive it and entrust it to still others themselves (cf. 2 Timothy 1:13-14 & 2:1-2).

To this end, we are diligently working to update the EMC's Catechism so that it can be even more effectively used as a tool for membership classes, as well as personal and family discipleship. While we continue to develop this into the best resource we can, we invite you to scroll down and check out what we have accomplished so far.

NOTE: The completed project will need to be submitted to the General Conference of the EMC for acceptance before it can be considered an official publication.
